Purchased for my 4 and 7 year olds as the younger in particular is very into art and adores her book about Yayoi Kusama.
This is a really lovely book. Just enough biographic info to make a great introduction, along with photos of some of each artist’s work. Important life events aren’t sugar-coated or sanitised, but are handled in a manner appropriate for children. We read an artist a night, as each chapter is about the right length. Very nice illustrations too.
As a result of this book my daughter now adores Kenojuak Ashevak. It was amazing to watch her discover art that speaks to her. (Kenojuak’s picture gets an excited equal and a kiss every time we pass it!)

I bought this box as a little something fun to do together with my 2 girls before they go back to school - they love crafts - and this box gave us hours of fun. I was really impressed by the products included as well as all the info/how- to suggestions and the positivity in the wording was fab& really helped my girls to just have fun & enjoy it x

My niece is absolutely thrilled with her art gift box! It’s nicely presented, with many activities included & great quality materials.

My 9 year old daughter is thrilled with her box. We learnt about Frida Kahlo as an artist and had lots of fun creating head bands, collages and glyphs! It was really good, fun and I could have gone for ages. I loved the bubble wrap and making my own stamps. From Abigail aged 8.

So good to have a box that isn’t ‘conveyor belt’ crafts and gives the child an opportunity to express their creativity

This was such a fantastic kit! One box and so much to do. I managed to get my children to share between them. There was more than enough. We’ve only managed two activities which kept them entertained for at least 2 hours!
The remainder of the activities will be over the next week or so. Looking forward to ordering the Georgia O’keefe box!
